I cook at home, for friends and family, and I write about what I enjoy eating. It's straightforward, unfussy food that is simple to prepare. It is a celebration of good produce - great food needs little done to it to be wonderful.

I love British food, but South East Asia has had a profound impact on my cooking - I am as at home with gooseberries and rhubarb as I am with lime leaves and lemongrass. One of the greatest pleasures in life is sharing, and food is at the heart of this.
